Why the cave for a group

Active

The whole body moving

Crawling, climbing and squeezing through low passages: exercise without noticing it, and no competition.

Teamwork

The group solves together

The chamber puzzles and the gem hunt work best as a team, making it a natural group outing.

Flexible

Weekdays and outside opening hours

Groups are welcome on weekdays and, by arrangement, outside normal opening hours too.

What's included

  • A helmet and headlamp for everyone
  • A short safety briefing before you start

How a group visit runs

  1. 01

    Arrival & briefing

The group gets the gear (a helmet and headlamp) and a short safety briefing before heading into the cave.

  2. 02

    Into the cave

The group explores at its own pace: tunnels, chambers, puzzles and gems. Not a guided tour, your own adventure. The group’s adults can go into the cave with them.

  3. 03

    Back to the surface

The adventure takes about an hour. There is no running in the cave, and there are several marked emergency exits.

Group-visit FAQ

What does a group visit cost?

For school and daycare groups the price is €7 per person, with a minimum billing of €105. The whole group is billed on one invoice.

Can I pay by invoice?

Yes. Organisations with a Finnish business ID (Y-tunnus) can pay by invoice. Choose “Pay on Arrival” as the payment method and we’ll invoice you afterwards. There is a €10 invoicing surcharge (incl. VAT) and a 14-day payment term. Have your billing details ready: organisation name and address, business ID (Y-tunnus), order or reference number, contact person (phone and email), e-invoicing address (OVT identifier and operator).

How large a group fits?

Up to 18 people can be in the cave at a time. Larger groups can be split across sessions. Ask about a suitable arrangement when you book.

What ages does a group visit suit?

Luolaseikkailu suits ages 5 and up, and primary-school age especially. The most common range is 5–13.

Is there a guide in the cave?

No separate guide in the cave. Staff give a short safety briefing and the gear, after which the group explores on its own. The group’s adults can go into the cave with them. There is no running in the cave, staff are on site throughout the visit, and there are 7 marked emergency exits a few metres apart, so you can always get out quickly.

Can a group come on a weekday or outside opening hours?

Yes. Groups are welcome on weekdays, and by arrangement a visit can also be outside normal opening hours. Ask about a suitable time by phone or email.

How do I book a group visit?

Book right here on this page by choosing a time and group size. For larger groups or special arrangements, get in touch by phone or email.
